We’re happy to announce that our new Café Yumm! restaurant near the University of Oregon opened on 10/6/2020 just across from The Duck Store at 860 E 13th Ave.
With a fun spin on the Café Yumm! experience, this new restaurant reflects the creative energy of the UO campus with original works by local artists, unique tile flooring, and a lush array of hanging and potted plants. The casual lounge atmosphere features a variety of seating, including booths, outdoor patio tables, and a live-edge community table made from a salvaged maple tree.
The new restaurant is located just a few steps away from the UO bookstore and a block from the main campus, making it a convenient option for lunch and dinner with easy online ordering for takeout and delivery. We can’t wait to become a favorite “third place” locale for study breaks and group meetups once the restaurant begins offering dine-in service sometime next year.
Students and faculty at the University of Oregon have long been Café Yumm! regulars thanks to our focus on quick, friendly service and a uniquely Northwest menu featuring local and organic ingredients. In addition to serving our classic menu featuring fan-favorite Yumm! Bowls®, wraps, salads, and more, there will also be craft beer, a selection of wine, and locally roasted organic coffee.
Our new restaurant on E 13th Ave is a wonderful fit for the college community because we offer a variety of nourishing ingredients that can be customized for anyone – from vegans and vegetarians to people following a keto diet. We’ve heard over the years that Yumm! Bowls are a staple comfort food that makes Eugene feel like home, and we couldn’t be more pleased to bring that joy to the University District.
Founded in 1997, Café Yumm! is Oregon-born and based in Eugene with 23 restaurants across Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. Another new location in Eugene is scheduled to open later this fall in the 5th Street Public Market expansion.
