What are the steps in becoming a Café Yumm! franchisee?
| 1. | You have already taken the first step by visiting this website and reading all the material within it. |
| 2. | Now, complete a Franchise Interest Form which is posted below. This Form must be submitted in order to continue the process. |
| 3. | Participate in conference call to discuss in detail the next steps (4 through 13 below). You begin your due diligence. |
| 4. | Complete Franchise Application and return to us. The Application authorizes us to perform a background check. |
| 5. | We perform a background check. |
| 6. | You receive an FDD (Franchise Disclosure Document) and sign acknowledgment of receipt. | 7. | We verify your financial qualifications and references. | 8. | Participate in a “structured interview.” | 9. | Visit us for a Discovery Day (meet Team Members, tour restaurant, ask questions, etc.) | 10. | Complete a Franchisee Success Profile questionnaire. | 11. | We process information. What does it take to financially qualify?
To buy a franchise, Café Yumm! requires that you have a net worth of $500,000 and liquid cash of $150,000. Net worth is defined as total assets - including cash, stocks, homes, cars, recreational vehicles, businesses, etc. - minus total liabilities/debt.

Does Café Yumm! provide training?
We provide in-depth training at company headquarters and at existing restaurants. We provide detailed operations manuals and job aids loaded with techniques, procedures, recommendations, and guidelines. We help train your staff in your own restaurant before opening. We continue to support you in marketing, operations, product development, and more.

What happens once my store is open?
We are there with you. An opening team will help start off your Café Yumm! restaurant with hands-on assistance. You will have a talented staff to help you become comfortable running your own restaurant. Additionally, your franchise consultant is always available to answer questions. We also make periodic visits to your restaurant to help you. We also provide marketing assistance, bulk purchasing contracts to lower your costs, and continuing educational materials on topics of interest to you.
